Their 2024 EP ‘Lungs’ charmed audiences with its mix of pop finesse and unflinching honesty, exploring themes of independence and self-discovery. Building on the foundation of their earlier mixtape, Ruti’s new music radiates confidence, showcasing a deep desire for connection with listeners, already supported by tastemakers; Clash, Wonderland, F word and Fault. Having soaked up influences from Kool & The Gang to George Benson, Ruti’s musical journey began early, starting lessons at age three.
